Working in Construction

Careers in Construction are evolving at a rapid pace. New skills and training are constantly required. Construction is both a tough and rewarding career where you are able to see the results of your hard work for decades to come as you live in the community you help to build.

Safety must be the first priority for everyone working on a job-site. Safety regulations and policies are clear and firm to ensure everyone gets home safely every single day. Safety is a top priority at Rohrbach, and it is a Team effort.

Quality is critical. We are constructing the buildings and infrastructure that our fellow Americans depend on to live, move, and work every day. Successful Team Members are focused on getting the job done the right way, the first time. We work for our Customers and always seek to exceed their expectations.

Some Questions

Do you provide health insurance?

Yes, we have a comprehensive benefits package including dental and vision.

Do I need to know about construction?

Above all else, we are seeking Team Members with the right attitude. If you bring experience to the table, that's excellent. You can hit the ground running and share your skills with the Team. If not, that's ok - as long as you have a desire to be part of a team, we will train you.

Do I need tools?

Yes, you are expected to have a basic set of hand tools. During your interview we will review the list.

What are the hours like?

We have a dynamic schedule that is impacted by the progress of our Customers, the time of year we are working and the weather - in other words, the schedule changes on a regular basis. A typical start time is 6:30AM. Spring, summer, and fall make up our our busy season with winter typically slower.
